Angelica Locsin Colmenares

Angel Locsin’s pet dog is called Pwet-Pwet, a Bichone Frise

  • Breed Group: Non-Sporting
  • Height: 9.5 to 11.5 inches at the shoulder
  • Weight: 10 to 18 pounds
  • Life Span: 15 or more years

Bred specifically to be a companion, the Bichon Frise is a wonderfully affectionate dog. Because his job was to entertain, his nifty repertoire of tricks made him an ideal circus dog. Today, though, he’s more often found entertaining his people at home.

Breed Group: Working
Height: 23 to 25 inch. at shoulder
Weight: 65 to 100 pounds

The Alaskan Malamute is a dog fur factory, he's a world-class leash-puller, and he'll eat his weight in food every four hours if you let him. The world is his backyard; that’s because few fences can contain him. But there may be no more joyful, exuberant, friendly dog in the animal kingdom, and none more likely to remind you just why you love dogs in the first place.

    Coleen Ortega Garcia

Coleen Garcia with her adorable Sphynx Cat named "Anya"
billy gives this adorable cutie Sphynx last 2015 as an early anniversary gift.

Sphynx loves attention because he/She draws it wherever he goes.
He/She is demanding of human attention and will do anything for a laugh.

    Vital Stats:

Life Span: 8 to 14 years

    History

The hairless Sphynx is an example of the cat breeds that come about accidentally.
A genetic mutation brought about the birth of a hairless kitten to Elizabeth,
a black and white domestic cat in Toronto, Canada.

    Size

The Sphynx is a medium-size cat. He typically weighs 6 to 12 pounds.

    Care

You should take good care of that cat very carefully because despite his bald body,
a Sphynx requires at least as much grooming as cats with fur and maybe even more.
Their skin must be kept moisturized with a gentle, scent-free lotion or oil,
and they need weekly baths so as not to leave greasy spots on your furniture and clothing.
Use a gentle baby shampoo or moisturizing shampoo and rinse thoroughly,
especially between the folds of the wrinkles

    Josephine "Yeng" Eusebio Constantino Asuncion

Yeng Constantino with her Scottish Folds named "Romulus" and "Remus"

A Scottish Fold is a breed of domestic cat with a natural dominant-gene mutation that affects cartilage throughout the body, causing the ears to "fold,” bending forward and down towards the front of the head, which gives the cat what is often described as an "owl-like" appearance.

    Vital Stats:

Life Span: 11 to 14 years

    Personality

After his ears, the first thing you will notice about a Scottish Fold is his habit of posing in odd positions—flat out on the floor like a little frog, sitting up—for all the world as if he were a meerkat on a nature program—or lying on his back, paws up in the air. And although you might assume that his ears are less mobile than those of other cats, such is not the case. He uses them to communicate quite effectively, adding comments in a quiet, chirpy voice when necessary.
This is a smart, moderately active cat. The Scottish Fold enjoys teaser toys that test his agility and puzzle toys that challenge his intelligence. His favorite activity is anything that involves human interaction.

    Anne Ojales Curtis-Smith

Anne Curtis  Mogwai ,Grizzly, Princess, Bella and Birdy

The Showtime” host Anne Curtis is a certified pet lover. She has three dogs namely: Grizzly (Pomeranian), Princess (Yorkshire Terrier), and Bella (teacup chihuahua). She also has a Canary named Birdy and an exotic cat, Mogwai.
    Pomeranian

  • Breed Group: Toy
  • Height: 8 to 12 inches at the shoulder
  • Weight: 3 to 7 pounds, sometimes larger
  • Life Span: 15 years or longer

  • Tiny and bright-eyed, the spunky Pomeranian greets the world with endless curiosity and a sure sense that he’s the cutest thing around. He is clever, adaptable, and happy, whether hanging at home or performing as a top athlete on an agility course.

Pomeranians are the tiniest of the Spitz, or Nordic, breeds, but they have the courage of much bigger dogs. A perennially popular breed, the Pom weighs less than 7 pounds, but you won’t often find him in a puppy purse. That’s because Pomeranians think big. They know they have four feet and prefer to use them, just as larger dogs would.

    Yorkshire Terrier

  • Breed Group: Toy

  • Height: 8 to 9 inches at the shoulder

  • Weight: 4 to 7 pounds, sometimes larger

  • Life Span: 12 to 16 years

  • This little guy may be classified as a Toy dog, but his personality is pure terrier. Spunky and smart, he loves to play, gets along well with cats, and has the ability to rule bigger family dogs with an iron paw. The breed comes with one caveat: His beautiful coat is high maintenance, even if clipped short.

    Teacup Chihuahua

“teacup Chihuahuas” or “pocket Chihuahuas,” these little guys are tiny. When they’re puppies they actually will fit into your teacup. Although these terms are not official breed designations, they’re descriptive enough to let you know you’re talking about the smallest members of a tiny breed.

    Canary

Canary is known as a companion, it has a deep roots in the American psyche, perhaps due to its contribution as a noxious gas detector in the coal mines of the 1800s and early 1900s or its use as the model for the feisty yellow cartoon character, Tweety Bird. Whatever the case, the canary has been a favorite among bird keepers for hundreds of years, and has been bred into more than 200 breeds, much like dogs have, each breed prized for a particular skill or appearance.

    Exotic cat

The Exotic is nicknamed “the lazy man’s Persian” because he shares the Persian’s sweet face, but his short, plush coat is easier to care for. Exotics are more lively than the laidback Persian, but they also love to sit in a lap. They can live to be 15 years or more.
